AIDEN McGEADY’S dream of playing in the Europa League final at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium is in tatters after his Spartak Moscow side crashed 5-1 at Porto in last night’s quarter-final first leg tie.

Substituted with 20 minutes left, Ireland winger McGeady had to watch from the sidelines as Radamel Falcao completed a hat-trick in stoppage time to all but end Spartak’s chances of turning the tie around in the Russian capital next Thursday.

Silvestre Varela also found the net for the newly-crowned Portuguese champions, with Dmitri Kombarov scoring at both ends.
