Crouch leaps highest to keep Tottenham in touch

PETER CROUCH’S fourth-minute goal was enough to keep Tottenham in sight of a Champions League place with a victory against Blackburn — but Harry Redknapp believes his side have little chance of overtaking Chelsea.

A goal from Peter Crouch in the fourth minute was enough to secure a 1-0 victory against Blackburn at Ewood Park.

He rose above Chris Samba to get on the end of a Rafael van der Vaart’s cross and head into the corner.
