Adebayor revels in dream Real move

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR hopes to have put a turbulent 12 months behind him after completing what he described as a dream move to Real Madrid yesterday.

Adebayor was presented at the Bernabeu yesterday after joining Madrid on loan until the end of the season from Manchester City, with the Spanish giants having the option to buy the 26-year-old in the summer.

The switch, which will see Adebayor help cover the loss of long-term injury victim Gonzalo Higuain, comes after a difficult 2010 for the former Togo captain both professionally and on a personal level.
