Bohs future safer as wage row nears resolution

THE threat of a winding-up order against Bohemians is set to be lifted, with the news that a deal over unpaid wages is in the process of being agreed.

Players Brian Shelley and Stephen Gray had initiated proceedings which were due to come before the High Court on February 7 but, following negotiations between the players, the union, the club and the FAI over the weekend, it’s understood that a resolution to the impasse is imminent.

Shelley and Gray are just two of 10 Bohemians players who are due eight weeks wages and who have also been involved in prolonged contract disputes with the cash-strapped club.
