Dalglish not sure he’ll have cash to spend

LIVERPOOL manager Kenny Dalglish will have plenty of talking to do in the coming days as he tries to lift shattered confidence in the dressing room and improve his side’s stuttering season.

With principal owner John Henry arriving for this weekend’s Merseyside derby the Scot is also likely to have a chance to discuss the possibilities of bringing in reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.

Wednesday night’s 2-1 reverse at Blackpool represented a second successive defeat for Dalglish since his return as manager at the weekend, and left the 59-year-old under no illusions over the size of his task.
