Ancelotti unruffled by supporter protest

CARLO ANCELOTTI has laughed off a protest calling for him to be sacked as Chelsea manager, insisting demonstrations were worse in Italy.

Ancelotti and his players arrived at their Cobham base yesterday morning to find a pair of banners draped opposite the entrance which read: “Ancelotti + Abramovich out!!!” and “None of you are fit to wear the shirt”.

Presumably the handiwork of a Chelsea supporter disgruntled by the club’s worst league run for almost 15 years, the signs were later removed.
