Mancini says Tevez key to title hopes

MANCHESTER CITY manager Roberto Mancini is convinced that Carlos Tevez is in the right frame of mind to spearhead their attempt to finish top of the Premier League.

Tevez starred in City’s 3-1 victory at Newcastle United yesterday, scoring twice and creating the other goal for Gareth Barry as City moved up to second place.

And, for Mancini, it was proof that Tevez has consigned his dispute with the club to the past and will be the key to their attempt to win the championship in 2011.
