Platt says Tevez turmoil won’t affect City boys

MANCHESTER CITY coach David Platt insists Carlos Tevez’s transfer request will not affect the team and their chance to extend a nine-match unbeaten run.

News of Tevez’s determination to leave the club broke after the victory against West Ham at the weekend.

The Argentina striker sat out the match as he was suspended but he is due to return against Everton on Monday.
