Angry Ipswich refute Keane-Delaney bust-up claim

IPSWICH Town moved last night to nip in the bud claims that manager Roy Keane had been involved in a training ground bust-up with fellow Corkman Damien Delaney.

The club took decisive action on what appears to be unfounded speculation after they learned that a number of tabloid newspapers were planning to run the story today. The club has already engaged legal advice on the matter.

And sources close to Delaney corroborated the club’s version of events, insisting that any disagreement between himself and Keane had been “blown out of all proportion.”
