STOKE manager Tony Pulis intends to leave match officials alone after recently proposing a radical solution to recent refereeing problems.

Pulis has attracted plenty of coverage this week after suggesting the need for a controversial overhaul of the referee assessment procedure, calling for the introduction of a league table and a promotion and relegation system for officials. The Potters boss spoke out following what he felt was a run of bad decisions against his side since the start of the season.

“I have said what I have had to say about referees — I don’t want to talk about referees anymore,’’ said Pulis.
