Monaghan set for Bray clash
Scoreless after the first leg in Gortakeegan, it’s a match which the rival managers hardly need to talk up.
“After a remarkable adventure here we are playing for our lives in the final game of the season,” said Bray Director of Football Pat Devlin.
Bray will be without the suspended Dave Webster and experienced ‘keeper Matt Gregg, the latter sent off in the final minute of the first leg. But Pat Devlin does have central defender Adam Mitchell available again. For Monaghan, Karl Birmingham, Sean Brennan and Cathal O’ Connor are all doubtful after the first leg, with Mick Cooke desperately hoping that at least one or more of what he calls “such influential players” will be available.
