Benayoun crosses from ’Pool to the Bridge

CHELSEA have confirmed the signing of Israel midfielder Yossi Benayoun from Liverpool.

The 30-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and he joins the Blues on a three-year deal.

He told Chelsea’s website: “I am very excited to come to a club like Chelsea, it is a big club and I think it is a dream for every player. Hopefully we will be successful.’’
