Ramsey agrees new deal

AARON RAMSEY has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal, the club has confirmed, with the Welsh star’s rehabilitation after an horrific injury is expected to continue into next year.

The 19-year-old midfielder joined the Gunners from Cardiff in the summer of 2008 and played 29 times last season before having his campaign cut short by an horrendous leg break suffered against Stoke in February.

“I’m very happy here at Arsenal, it’s a great club and I’ve learned a lot since I’ve been here,” Ramsey said.
