McGeady the latest Irish star to withdraw

ANOTHER one bites the dust.

Aiden McGeady is the latest big name to withdraw from the Irish squad for next week’s friendly games against Paraguay and Algeria.

According to Giovanni Trapattoni, the Celtic winger had a scan two days ago on a knee ligament injury which he had been nursing towards the end of the SPL season.
