Moxey: McCarthy’s our best boss in 30 years

MICK MCCARTHY has been acclaimed as Wolves’ best manager of the last 30 years after keeping the club in the top flight this season.

Wolves were guaranteed a second successive campaign in the Barclays Premier League following Burnley’s 4-0 home defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

That has prompted chief executive Jez Moxey to wax lyrical about McCarthy, who is also now being backed to go on and win a trophy at Molineux.
