Nielsen: I can handle pressure

GOALKEEPER Gunnar Nielsen has reassured Manchester City fans he will not crumble under pressure.

The little-known Faroe Islands international looks set to play in City’s final three games of the season, and a key role in their fight for fourth place, after Shay Given was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

With regular number two Stuart Taylor recovering from knee surgery and no recall clause in the deal which took Joe Hart on a season-long loan to Birmingham, Nielsen is City’s only option in goal.
