Diego Milito, the Inter striker, created two goals and scored a controversial third that could prove crucial in their high-profile tie.

Barcelona claimed with some justification Milito was offside in the 61st minute when he scored the goal to gives Inter a two-goal cushion and leave them with the edge in the bid to reach the final.
