WEST BROM manager Roberto Di Matteo is looking forward to testing himself in the Barclays Premier League next season after his side sealed promotion to the top flight at Doncaster on Saturday.

The 3-2 victory at the Keepmoat Stadium, courtesy of goals from Graham Dorrans, Chris Brunt and Roman Bednar, saw the Baggies seal their return to the top flight after just one season in the Coca-Cola Championship.

Di Matteo has enjoyed a successful start to his fledgling managerial career, having guided MK Dons to the play-offs before taking charge at the Hawthorns following Tony Mowbray’s departure last summer, but knows managing in the top flight will be the toughest task he has yet faced.
