Wenger: Fabregas did not play with leg break

ARSENE WENGER yesterday insisted Arsenal did not send captain Cesc Fabregas out to face Barcelona in the Champions League with a broken leg.

It has been confirmed the Spain international midfielder will now miss the rest of the season after suffering a small crack in his right fibula which will take six weeks to heal.

But Wenger stressed there had been no risks taken with Fabregas.
