IPSWICH TOWN boss Roy Keane admits he might have lost his job had he been at another club, with his side still struggling in the lower reaches of the Championship.

Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat to second-bottom Plymouth saw the first real signs of terrace dissent from the Portman Road faithful.

Keane says other managers have been treated more harshly than he has this season: “I’ve been very fortunate, very lucky. I’ve seen managers under a lot more pressure than me even with better results. I think Gareth Southgate was about fourth when he lost his job (at Middlesbrough).
