Reds alert as QPR cash in on Sterling

LIVERPOOL have signed highly rated England youth international Raheem Sterling from Queens Park Rangers for around €560,000.

The 15-year-old midfielder, who had also interested Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Fulham, will join the club’s academy in Kirby.

“The success of our academy is vital to our future progress,” said Liverpool managing director Christian Purslow.
