PORTSMOUTH chief executive Peter Storrie has suggested he was left out of negotiations with Tottenham over the sale of Younes Kaboul.

Kaboul is expected to seal a return to White Hart Lane in a deal worth around £11 million (€12.7m), though £2m (€2.3m) of that is reportedly already owed by Pompey from the deal that brought the defender to Fratton Park.

But Storrie, one of the few constant figures during a turbulent time on the south coast, hinted he was kept in the dark over the Kaboul deal until talks were well progressed.
