Wenger consoled by Campbell comeback

THE only bright spot in Arsenal’s FA Cup exit on Sunday was the comeback performance of Sol Campbell, according to boss Arsene Wenger.

The 35-year-old defender was making his first appearance for the Gunners since the 2006 Champions League final in Paris against Barcelona.

Since then Campbell has had spells at Portsmouth and Notts County, but he has signed a contract after three months of training with the north Londoners.
