Allardyce: Burnley didn’t do enough to keep Coyle

BLACKBURN boss Sam Allardyce does not feel that Burnley fought hard enough to keep Owen Coyle.

Coyle is poised to complete a move to Bolton, subject to the clubs agreeing a compensation package and Allardyce does not feel that the Clarets did enough to stop the Scot agreeing to move to his former club.

“I think it’s a big loss for Burnley,’’ said Allardyce, who enjoyed an eight-year stint at the Reebok Stadium.
