Roy has no regrets for recent Irish rant

ROY KEANE says he has no regrets about last week’s much-publicised blast at the Irish side and the FAI in the wake of the controversial World Cup play-off defeat to France.

Roy has no regrets for recent Irish rant

Despite apologising to any offended Ipswich supporters at Tuesday’s club AGM, Keane feels he was merely giving his view of Ireland’s exit: “People were giving their comments last week and obviously I gave mine, as an ex-player and as an Irishman, and I mean an Irishman, born and raised there. “Everyone else was giving their opinions, other managers who weren’t even Irish, so I felt I was entitled to give mine. “So, no regrets about it.

“If you ask me a question, I’m going to give an answer, but as usual people get upset about it.”
