Blow for Spurs as Cudicini badly injured in crash

TOTTENHAM goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis in a serious road accident yesterday.

Cudicini was admitted to hospital after his BMW superbike collided with a Ford Fiesta in Walthamstow, east London at 10.30am yesterday morning.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper’s injuries were initially described by the police as ‘possibly life-changing’ but despite initial fears, the player has not fractured his pelvis.
