Brady happy to be part of the bunch

LIAM BRADY has made it clear that he is keen to stay on as assistant manager to Giovanni Trapattoni for the next two years but says that the decision will ultimately be up to his employers at Arsenal, where the former Gunner and Irish international heads up the club’s youth academy.

Speaking yesterday, Brady warmly welcomed the move to hand Trapattoni a two-year extension to his contract.

“I think it’s only logical that the manager should have been reconfirmed, with the results he’s got,” said Brady. “If that decision had been left unmade, people would have said ‘are you crazy?’ The FAI have done the right thing and I’m well pleased.”
