Wenger talks up Campbell

SOL CAMPBELL quit Notts County because he believes he can still cut it in the Premier League, according to Arsene Wenger.

The Arsenal manager believes the former Gunners and Portsmouth defender realised it was too early to give up the challenge of the top flight.

Campbell terminated his five-year deal with League Two Notts County yesterday and looks as though he will be unable to play for another club until January.
