Brown criticism ‘surprised’ Folan

REPUBLIC of Ireland striker Caleb Folan has revealed his surprise at criticism from Hull City manager Phi Brown.

The striker has joined Championship outfit Middlesbrough on a three-month loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Brown allowed Folan to leave after admitting he had been less than impressed with the forward’s displays this season.
