Adebayor in the dark over Arsenal future

A RIFT appears to be developing between Arsène Wenger and Emmanuel Adebayor after Stephane Courbis, the striker’s agent, revealed a lack of communication regarding the 25-year-old’s future at the club.

Courbis said they “had heard nothing” from the Arsenal manager following the Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani’s admission that he had rung Wenger to discuss a potential move for the forward.

Last week Galliani claimed that because the first choice of Milan, the Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko, was now apparently out of reach Adebayor had become the new focus: “There has been a telephone call during which Wenger was friendly,” he said.
