Reading won’t budge on €5.8m Hunt fee

READING have warned Sunderland that they have no intention of budging from their £5m (€5.8m) asking price for their in-demand winger Stephen Hunt.

The Ireland international has been targeted by Steve Bruce, the new Sunderland manager, for a summer move, having made public his desire to leave the Championship club last week.

Bruce, who failed with a move for Hunt during the January transfer window while in charge of Wigan, is keen to move quickly for the 27-year-old.
