Adams eyes Celtic deal with Jansen

CELTIC’S managerial hunt took a bizarre twist yesterday when Tony Adams claimed he was being lined up for a partnership with former Hoops boss Wim Jansen.

Adams claimed Celtic had approached Jansen, who then insisted on bringing the former Portsmouth manager with him as part of a continental-style management team.

However, a Parkhead source later said the claims were “complete garbage”, while Jansen has recently denied interest in a return to Celtic.
