Quinn unhappy about rescheduling of fixtures

SUNDERLAND chairman Niall Quinn has called for greater consideration for fans after the timing of two of his club’s remaining Barclays Premier League fixtures were altered to suit television.

Quinn unhappy about rescheduling of fixtures

The club’s home clash with Everton, originally planned for Saturday May 2, has been provisionally rescheduled for 12.45pm the same day – and may yet move to the following day with a 4pm kick-off.

But it is the re-arrangement of the club’s trip to Portsmouth from Saturday May 16 to Monday May 18 with an 8pm start which has particularly upset Quinn.
