Parlour berates Bendtner’s shocking pinks

FORMER Gunners midfielder Ray Parlour has slammed striker Nicklas Bendtner’s choice of footwear.

Bendtner, who scored in Arsenal’s Champions League victory on Wednesday night, has been sporting pink boots, to the annoyance of many Gooner fans.

Said Parlour: “In our day, you had a pair of black and white ones as plain as you like and then you played. You’ve got to be playing really well, you’ve got to be banging in three goals a game to be wearing them,” he said.
