ARSENAL captain William Gallas yesterday claimed the Gunners are being unsettled by the behaviour from one unnamed leading member of the squad.

While refusing to reveal the name of the player causing the friction 31-year-old Gallas said the guilty party is six years younger than him. Presuming his maths is up to scratch that leaves three contenders:

Robin van Persie: The chief suspect given Gallas’ admission that the incident in which the culprit insulted his teammates occurred during an attacking phase of play.

Bacary Sagna: Gallas’ teammate for both club and country, 25-year-old Sagna seems unlikely to be culprit given his relaxed and quiet nature.

Emmanuel Eboue: Like van Persie and Sagna, Eboue fits the age bracket. However given that he only came on as a substitute for Theo Walcott against Tottenham 15 minutes from time, it seems unlikely he is the guy whodunnit.
