Lampard: we don’t fear Ronaldo
Lampard would rather face United at full strength at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with the Blues’ morale high this week after scoring seven goals in their last two games, victories over Manchester City and Bordeaux.
Ronaldo, the PFA Player of the Year after inspiring United’s double last season, is edging back from ankle surgery and came on as a substitute in United’s scoreless draw against Villarreal in the Champions League last night, but Lampard said: “I don’t know what the situation is with him and I’m not too concerned really.
