Focused Trapattoni ready to take on the world
That was the message from Giovanni Trapattoni at Gannon Park, Malahide yesterday, as the Ireland squad held their first training session ahead of the back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Montenegro.
“Our aim is South Africa,” said the manager. “Two years is a long time and we have 10 games to qualify. It starts now and in Italy we say a good beginning is half the battle.”
