Ince will put brakes on Bentley

BLACKBURN chairman John Williams has promised to back new manager Paul Ince in his fight to keep David Bentley at Ewood Park.

Ince used his first media conference as manager as a platform to state he wanted the promising England winger to stay on board.

Bentley stunned the club when former boss Mark Hughes joined Manchester City by stating he wanted to leave as well.
