Poland investigating mother-in-law option

POLAND coach Leo Beenhakker believes his side have a chance of qualifying from Group B tonight (7.45pm) — but only if his opposite number Slaven Bilic fields his mother-in-law in the Croatia line-up.

The Poles are on the brink of going out of Euro 2008 after a last-minute penalty against Austria denied them their first win of the tournament.

Beenhakker’s side now not only need all three points against Croatia to join them in the last eight, but they also need Austria to beat Germany and by a smaller margin than Poland win their game.
