Germans eye next round

GERMANY coach Joachim Low will send his side into action against Croatia today knowing a quarter-final berth could be the reward on offer to the victorious team.

The match pits the top two in Group B against each other, with both countries having started their Euro 2008 campaigns in winning fashion.

“It is logical that we want to win, because both us and Croatia have three points, so that is our objective. And with Poland playing Austria, I think that a victory tomorrow could qualify us for the quarter-finals,” said Low, who insists he is only focused on progressing rather than winning the group.
