Curbishley not biased

WEST HAM manager Alan Curbishley insists he has no bias towards Manchester United and has slammed talk of favouring Alex Ferguson’s side as “ridiculous”.

Curbishley’s initial comments in a newspaper sparked a war of words between West Ham and Chelsea today.

The former Charlton boss had said it would be “an injustice if Manchester United did not win the title”.

That annoyed Chelsea boss Avram Grant who voiced his disappointment.

But far from distancing himself from his earlier remarks, Curbishley went on to clarify that it was ridiculous to suggest that he was biased towards Sir Alex Ferguson’s men.

“If I am supposed to be biased in favour of Manchester United, how come we’ve beaten them the last three times we’ve played them?

“United can expect no favours from us.”
