Baggies in late scoring spree

WEST BROM scored three times in the final nine minutes to win 3-1 at Blackpool and go top of the Coca-Cola Championship.

The beaten FA Cup semi-finalists looked set for another defeat, but the late arrival of top scorer Kevin Phillips turned the game, equalising from the spot scoring three minutes later before Ishmael Miller lobbed a third minutes from time.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United striker James Beattie scored a late equaliser to deny Wednesday their first steel city derby double for 94 years.
