Keegan says he wants to recreate the impact made when Newcastle paid a then world-record £15m on Alan Shearer in his first spell at the club, and Henry is the player he has in mind.

The Frenchman left Arsenal for Barcelona last summer, but admits he is missing his daughter — who still lives in Britain — and has often been asked to play out of position in Spain.
