Adriaanse to succeed Trapattoni at Salzburg

CO ADRIAANSE was yesterday officially unveiled as Giovanni Trapattoni’s successor at FC Salzburg.

With Trapattoni having decided to take over as Ireland coach at the end of the season, Adriaanse was appointed as his successor at Salzburg.

Sporting director Heinz Hochhauser said of the 60-year-old: “His modern attacking football and his passion for youth development are totally in line with our ideals.”
