ROY KEANE has been criticised by FIFA vice-president Jack Warner for questioning whether Sunderland pair Carlos Edwards and Kenwyne Jones should play for Trinidad and Tobago.

The pair have been selected for a friendly with Jamaica on March 27, just two days before Sunderland’s Premier League home clash with West Ham.

But the Corkman has been met by a stinging rebuke from Warner: “Maybe Keane needs to be reminded of the FIFA rules on matters like this one. Had it been an African country he wouldn’t even have contemplated a battle. It tells you of the contempt a few English coaches continue to have for countries in the Caribbean.”
