REPUBLIC of Ireland manager Sean McCaffrey has named an 18-man squad for the UEFA U17 Elite Phase tournament (March 13-18).

Ireland topped their European Championship first phase qualifying mini-group in September with a maximum nine points from three games and have home advantage once more for the second elite section.

The Irish will open against Germany on March 13 at Terryland Park in Galway followed by a meeting with Greece two days later at Lissywoollen Stadium in Athlone. Their final group game comes on 18 March when they face Portugal back at Terryland Park.
