LIVERPOOL’S frustration at once again failing to score at Stamford Bridge was eased yesterday with news that Fernando Torres could soon be back in action, while Chelsea are taking consolation from good news about their captain John Terry.

Liverpool had to face Chelsea without their star striker after he injured a hamstring playing for Spain against France in midweek.

But the news from the Anfield treatment room is positive, so much so that he could even be fit to face Barnsley in the FA Cup on Saturday.
