Bolton boss: improving our away form will be vital

GARY MEGSON is determined to raise the bar at Bolton this year — starting against Derby at the Reebok Stadium today.

As he prepared to face the league’s bottom team, he gave a damning appraisal of the Wanderers in 2007.

“Our form throughout the past year has not been good enough. We played 37 Premier League games and won eight. We need to get back to the standard set a few years ago,” he said.
