Hunt staying with Royals

READING have insisted they have “no intention” of selling Stephen Hunt in the January transfer window.

Reports claimed the club have rejected a £2.5million (€3.4m) bid from Sunderland for the Republic of Ireland midfielder.

The Royals are keeping quiet over whether they have had any approaches for the 26-year-old, with director of football Nicky Hammond stating: “We never quote on press speculation.”
