Forssell backs Hodgson to succeed at Fulham

MIKAEL FORSSELL has backed his former international boss Roy Hodgson to keep Fulham in the Premier League.

Birmingham striker Forssell has first-hand experience of Hodgson’s capabilities from his time as head coach of Finland, who came close to qualifying for the Euro 2008 finals.

Now Hodgson has taken on the task of reviving Fulham after the departure of Lawrie Sanchez. He watched them earn a 1-1 Premier League draw with the Blues at St Andrews before officially taking charge yesterday.
